OBITUARY - Miss Violet Hooker Passed Away February 1st
Miss Pauline Hooker received work Tuesday morning from Phoenix, Arizona telling of the death of her sister, Miss Violet Hooker, who passed away about 7 a.m. February 1. Miss Hooker was a former school teacher in the Browning Public School, later going to Phoenix to make her home.
For several years she has made her home with Miss Chloe Fields in Phoenix.

Violette Hooker, daughter of Enoch and Ida Gable Hooker was born 17 Feb. 1900 Browning, No. She never married. She was a teacher in Browning, Mo. public schools. She made her home with Miss Chloe Fields. But at her death she was staying part of the time with her sister Ollie McCalmont. She died 1 Feb. 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona. They buried her in Pottersfield. I am told this was g-aunt Ollie and her daughter Helen's doing......and that Violette kept everything she owned in the trunk of her car. I guess Ollie and Helen got that, whatever it was, so I am told.
