OBITUARY
Darlene Lorie Davis, 72, of Mercer, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 1981, at her home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Mercer Assembly of God with the Rev. Roy Donelson and the Rev. Earl Kelly officiating. Burial was in the Girdner Cemetery north of Mercer.
She was born in Mercer County Nov. 19, 1908, a daughter of Glen and Florence (Hooker) Wheeler and was married Nov., 1924, to S. R. Davis, who survives.
