Carol Elaine Buel ¹²¹⁵

  General Notes:

Carol grew up in Maryland (Reisterstown) 1962-66; Rochester, NY 1966-68; Bakersfield, CA 1968-71; Hazel Crest, IL 1971-78; and San Jose, CA,1978-1996. She attended Stine Elementary School in Bakersfield, CA forK-3 grade; attended Highlands Elementary School for 4-6 grades; attended Canterbury Jr. High and Hillcrest High School 9-10 grades; and graduated from Santa Teresa High School, San Jose, CA in 1980. She met David Hughes Hepburn Jr. in 1982 at a home college fellowship group. They were married in 1984 at Los Gatos Christian Church. Carol worked for several large computer companies while they lived in Silicon Valley. She worked for Compuserve, Britton Lee (ShareBase) and Apple Computer. In 1989, on the request of a special friend, Martha McAndrews, Carol applied to San Jose State University. Carol and Martha studied Humanities, European Studies and graduated from SJSU in 1993. Later Carol studied English Literature at SJSU planning on a Master's degree but instead was blessed by the birth of her first and only child, DJ, who was born in September of 1993.

Carol stayed at home to raise her son, DJ, and in 1996, she and David moved to Phoenix, AZ to be closer to David's parents who had retired there. Carol has continued to use her computer expertise to help David with his Advertising and Specialty business and in 1996 started designing websites for key clients. ¹²²²
