Roger Buel, 19, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Buel of Rockcreek Township, was taken Monday afternoon to the Lutheran Hospital at Fort Wayne as a polio myelitis suspect patient. He reportedly has a stiffness in his neckand high fever.

A student at Purdue University, Buel is a brother-in-law to Gene Gordon of Rockcreek Township who is also a polio patient at the Lutheran Hospital." ¹²²²
