OBITUARY

"Mrs. Sutter Dead."
Mrs. Julia Sutter, aged 80 years, died at her home in this city last Monday. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. E. C. Wright, and burial took place in the Hopkins cemetery.

Julitee Truitt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Truitt, was born at Nauvoo, Ill., April 3, 1843, and died at her home in Hopkins, Mo., March 12, 1923. She was married to Benjamine Hall in early womanhood and to this union was born one child which died in infancy. Her husband served a period in the Civil War, and after this great strife, went west to seek a home and was killed by the Indians. About 25 years later she was married to Santon Sutter who preceded her in death 25 years ago, and since that time she has lived alone in her home in the southwest part of Hopkins. She became a christian when a young girl and for many years was a faithful member of the Baptist church. She leaves to mourn for her one invalid sister, Mrs. Henrietta Bunce of Lyons, Colo., and some nieces and nephews and many friends.
