OBITUARY

WEAVER -- Winifred L. "Winnie," 90, Richland Township, died March 4, 2001, at Woodland Center for Nursing, Lewisberry, York County. Born Jan. 12, 1911, in Bedford County, daughter of Samuel and Jessie (Shull) Crissey. Preceded in death by parents, and husband, Herman O. "Dutch" Weaver. Survived by daughter, Susan, wife of Dwight Worley, Etters, Pa.; grandson, Timothy Risser, at home; and nice nieces and nephews. Half sister of Pearl Turner, Manns Choice; Pauline Brown, Lancaster; Stella Clark, Bedford; and Fred Crissey, Manns Choice, and sisters-in-law, Mabe Weaver, Florida, and Zella Glessner, Richland. Graduate of Windber Hospital School of Nursing. Farmed in Richland Township with her late husband. Member of Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, where she was active with the Women's Fellowship. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at The Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Ronald St. Clair officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
