  General Notes:

David Ross, son of Joseph and Elizabeth Rush Ross, grandson of James Ross (of Scotland), was born in Stony Creek township in 1805, and is still living in 1884. He is a carpenter and began working at the trade when eighteen years of age. He married Sarah Ziegler, and is the father of Joseph, Jacob, Charles and Catharine.
