OBITUARY
Graveside services with military honors for A.D. Cox Jr. of El Reno were held Saturday, March 10, 2007, in the El Reno Cemetery with Francis Snodgrass officiating. Services were under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cox died March 6, 2007, at Sunset Estates Nursing Center. He was born Jan. 15, 1914, in El Reno to A.D. Cox Sr. and Martha Cox. He was a lifetime El Reno area resident and graduated from El Reno High School in 1932. He served in the Army. He married Natalia Hall on May 29, 1943, and later married Mildred Griffith Cox on July 6, 1990. A.D. formerly owned Band Box Cleaners and worked as a supervisor for MCM Hospital Supply in El Reno. He retired from the El Reno bowling alley. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife and his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Griffith Cox, and numerous other relatives and friends.
