OBITUARY

Adam Austin Sears

Vestavia, AL

"Adam" Austin Sears, 32 , formerly of Terry, MS, passed away August 19, 2013. Visitation is 12 noon Friday, August 23, 2013 at Lakewood Funeral Home, funeral services are 2pm Friday in the chapel with interment to follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.

Adam was born in Starkville, MS in 1980. His parents are Gary Sears of Vestavia, AL, and Deborah (Deal) Sears Pigford and Randy Pigford of Terry.

Adam was a 1998 graduate of Terry High School, attended Hinds Community College and Belhaven University. He loved music and was a very gifted guitarist and singer. He was a member of several different bands. In his younger days while living in Terry the name of his band was "Living Better Electrically". Music was so much a part of his life.

Adam was a member of Wyndale Baptist Church.

Along with Adam's parents he leaves behind his siblings, Taylor Sears and Kelly Sears of Vestavia, AL, Randi (Jeff) Hooker of Byram, Alex Pigford of Terrry, grandparents; Don and Joan Deal of Ocean Springs, Sarah Light of Roanoke, VA, Louise Pigford of Terry, lots of cousins and many, many friends in MS and AL.

While in high school at Terry, Adam was a member of the choir under the guidance of Mr. Smith and Mr. Sims; because of his love of music, donations can be made in his honor to the Terry High School Choir.
