General Notes:
Marie-Adélaïde of Savoy (December 6, 1685-February 12, 1712) was the mother of King Louis XV of France. She married Louis, Duke of Burgundy, grandson of Louis XIV in 1696. She was well liked by the Sun King, even though Madame complained of her boisterous behavior and became Dauphine after the death of her father-in-law, the Grand Dauphin. Both she and her husband fell ill in early 1712 and died within six days of each other. Her second son died the same year.

Marie-Adélaïde married Louis Duke of Burgundy, son of Louis, the Grand Dauphin and Maria Anna Duchess of Bavaria, in 1696.1893 (Louis Duke of Burgundy was born on 16 Aug 1682 1893 and died on 18 Feb 1712 1893.)
