Cause of her death was Killed by a railway car.1741 General Notes: Rachel left Horatio soon after marriage. It is said by Dr. Allen Beasley in an old letter that "Horatio was a holy terror at times." Dr. Beasley was referring to Horatio's temper. Rachel later married Robert Laudabaugh, but I have found no dates. It was mentioned in old letters and in the will of her sister, Jane. Rachel had children by Laudabaugh according to letters of relatives, but names were not given. One relative said Rachel was a mattress maker, and several stated that she was killed by a railway car at Portsmouth, OH. 1741 Life Events: 1. Occupation: Mattress Maker. 1741 Rachel married Horatio Burris on 25 Dec 1803 in Fleming County, Kentucky, USA.1741 (Horatio Burris was born about 1781 in Lewis County, Kentucky, USA 1741.)
