OBITUARY - Missouri Telegraph - Sept 28,1933 - "Mrs J. Wesley Selby, 57 years old, who has been an invalid for 3 years following a stoke of paralysis, that affected her right side, died at her home, two miles west of Millersburg, Tuesday, 9:30 a.m Mrs Selby whose maiden name was Pearl Truitt was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Truitt of Millersburg. She was born on the farm on which her death occurred and had lived there all her life. She was married early in life to J.W. Selby at a ceremony in Fulton and besides her husband is survived by two sons,Raymond Selby of Kansas City and Allen "Pete" Selby of Millersburg. She also leaves a brother, M.R. Truitt of Fulton and sister Mrs Susan Coons of Columbia. During her long residence in the Millersburg community, she took active part in church and community affairs as long as her health was good."

She married John Wesley SELBY 10 February 1910 in Callaway Co., Missouri. He was born 12 September 1877 in Missouri. John died 11 October 1961 in Callaway Co., Missouri, and was buried October 1961 in Millersburg Cemetery, Millersburg, Callaway CO. Missouri.
