11 October 1814, William Chandler Truitt, orphan of George Truitt, guardian John Truitt with his sureties Thomas Parker and Lemuel Hozier (also recorded as Hoshier). (Worcester County, Maryland Orphans Court Proceedings, Vol. 2 1800-1816, by David V. Heise, pg. 301) NOTE: Lemuel Hoshier and Elizabeth Truitt marriage license dated 22 January 1799. 15 September 1826, John Truitt of Worcester County writes his will and mentions his daughter Elizabeth Hoshier (left lot of land where she now lives), grandson William Charles Truitt (balance of lands [NOTE: According to guardian accounts his name was William Chandler Truitt, son of George Truitt, dec?d, guardian John Truitt, sureties Lemuel Hoshier & Thomas Parker]), daughter Suffiah Townsend, wife of Thomas, and daughter Mary Parker, wife of Thomas Parker.
