OBITUARY

Alice Marie Mosholder, 84, of Everett HCR 4 (PA) died Friday, March 6, 1998, at her home in Citronelle, Ala.

She was born March 5, 1914, in Johnstown (PA), a daughter of the late Waldo E. and S. Grace (Davis) Rhodes.

She married Charles Mosholder in Berlin on July 31, 1935. He survives, along with these children: Joyce E., wife of Hobart Trail, Chaneysville; Jay D. Mosholder, married to the former Carol Hoover, Everett; Glenn R. Mosholder, married to the former Donna Foor, Sterling, Va; Arthur E. Mosholder, married to the former Delores McConahy, Sterling, Va.; John N. Mosholder, married to the former Susan Smith, Kenmar, Md., Ruthann M., wife of Gary Grimes, Everett; and Harold L. Mosholder, married to the former Donna Searon, Falls Church, Va.; 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She is survived by these brothers and sisters: M. Faye Vorhaver of Summerhill; Granet Croyle and Forrest Rhodes, both of Johnstown; and G. Lurane Hunter, Mendota Heights, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Alvin; brothers Melvin and Calvin Rhodes; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Mosholder was member of Everett (Pennsylvania) Church of the Brethren and Cedar Creek Church of the Brethren, Citronelle, (Alabama) and was a former Sunday school teacher. She crocheted afghans at her winter home and donated them to the Citronelle (Alabama) Rescue Squad. She was active at churches in Everett and Citronelle.

She formerly had been employed by the late Mayor Chester Karns of Everett. She was a 1931 graduate of Ferndale High School in Johnstown (PA).

Funeral services: 10 A.M. Tuesday in the Everett Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. John Glick officiating. Burial in Everette Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dalla Valle Funeral Service, Main Street, Everett from 4 to 9 P.M. Monday and at the church one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

If friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Everett Church of the Brethren, Water Street, Everett, and the Cedar Creek Church of the Brethren in Church of Citronelle, Ala., in memory of Mrs. Mosholder. 1435
