Thank you for having this wonderful work on-line. Since my third great grandmother was Lovey Truitt who married William Patterson, I am especially interested in returning to your site when I have more time.

Peter Truitt and Elizabeth "Betty" Tatman Truitt were my fourth great grandparents. Lovey Truitt Patterson and William Patterson moved to Morgan County, Illinois.

I was an MP at Monteth Barracks, Furth, Germany while the General was stationed there and the 4th then 1st Armored Div.
To earn his scorn you only needed to fait to salute, which you only did once. He loved the MP's and treated us with great respect. I'm writing this 42 years after my service, and maintain that he was every bit a great leader that his Dad was.
Respectfully,
W. Martin Westmiller
501st MP company, 1st Armored Div., 1971-1972

I come from a line of George Rosses that goes back to my grandfather, George Hamilton Ross, born in Ontario, Canada in late 1800's. I've been told by cousin that ancestor tradition was naming sons George. My uncle was George, as was his son George Anthony, and his son, and his son, who is my 3rd cousin. Declaration signer's father also George. I have 5 generations of George's in my family. There's about 5 generations between signer's son George and my grandfather George. I think I am a descendant also. I would like to know if you have info on George's in between.

For fun I googled my mother, Wilma Miller's name and found your site. She did pass away in May of 2010. I am the oldest of her three children and she has seven grandchildren. I will keep looking ariund your site as I haven't quite figured out how you are connected to our family.
