OBITUARY
A recucurrent heart attack proved fatal Tuesday afternoon to Mrs. Fannie Williams Pugh Pence, 62, who died at 3:25 o'clock at Hayswood Hospital.
Mrs. Pence, who resided at 509 Buckner Street with a sister, Mrs. Carrie Davenport, suffered a heart seizure September 1 and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Last Friday she was able to go to the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hafer, also Buckner Street residents, but on Sunday afternoon she had a second attack and an ambulance returned her to the hospital.
Before coming to Maysville, Mrs. Pence resided in the eastern section of Mason county, where she was born and reared. Her parents were the late Charles and Anna Lee Edgington Williams and the date of her birth was 27 Jul, 1888.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Pence is survived by two sons, Floyd Pugh of Washington and Roy Rugh of Mason county, all three born of her first marriage to the late John Pugh. Also she leaves a foster daughter, Miss Myrtle Wood; three sisters, Mrs. Davenport, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Carl Dugan and Mrs. Kate Clevenger, both of this city; one brother, Ray Williams, also of Maysville, and 10 grandchildren.
