OBITUARY - Isaac Rucker
Services for Isaac Rucker, 632 Prospect Lake Drive, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Swan Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery with Ray Curtis, Clifford Kolsrud, Kenneth Waller, Ralph Bustamante, Gordon Mullen and Laverne Raygor serving as pallbearers. Mr. Rucker, a retired builder, died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1895 in Willow, Ark., served in the Army during World War I, was married May 30, 1917 in Sparkman, Ark., and moved here in 1921. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, the World War I Veterans, and the A.F. & A.M. Lodge in Holly Springs, Ark. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Zadie Rucker, a brother, Allen Rucker, and a sister, Mrs. Dessie Jackson, both of Little Rock, Ark., and several nieces and nephews.
