This material was sent by Marie Monson of North Bend, OR. Her information came from Leslie P. Dryden. George and wife Patience sold their land in Accomack Co, VA, and moved to Bogerternorton Hundred, Worcester Co, MD ca. 1725-1727. He owned ''Long Lot'' (80 acres), ''Forlorn Hope'' (50 acres), and ''Lean Heath'' (106 acres).
After moving to Worcester Co, MD, this George was known as ''Accomack George'' or ''George Accomack'' to distinguish him from the other George Truitts in the area.
In his Will, written 3/11/1755, George left bequests to sons Henry and George and daughters Comfort Bowen, Rachel, Ann Pennell; granddaughter Leah, daughter of son George.
George Truitt, son of Henry Truitt deceased, received 100 acres ''at the seaboard'' in Accomack County on an island north of an island called Watson's Choice, land due him for transporting two persons in April 1691.

1711 - George Truitt, son of Henry, and wife Patience: sold 300 acres (assigned by John Barnes to them in 1693) to Rev. William Black (tract A121). In 1687 this tract (A121) Accomack County was given to Henry Trewett. This piece of land lay in Barker's Neck.
