OBITUARY
Melville Dalton Starr, 86, Lexington, Missouri, died Sunday, July 13, 1986, at the Independence Regional Health Center. Mr. Starr worked for the Independence Stove Foundry and retired in 1959. His survivors include his wife, Dora Lee Starr of the home; three daughters, Margie Virginia Shroyer and Francine Mansell of Independence and Wilma Junita Rostine, Marshall, Missouri; two brothers, Carl Starr, Lexington, and Earl Starr, Brunswick, Missouri; five sisters, Effie Walker, Linn Missouri, Violet McKean, Opal Bakerand Thelma Bosseller of Chamois, Missouri, and Alta Davis, Chicago; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Walker-Nadler Chapel, Lexington; burial in Machpelah Cemetery, Lexington. Friends may call from 7-8:30 tonight at the chapel.
