OBITUARY
Thelma Cora Shockley, 88, Roeland Park, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 7, at Delmar Gardens of Lenexa Nursing Home. Funeral services will he held 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 11, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Shawnee. Mrs. Shockley was born in Climax Springs, Missouri and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzer Shockley, in 1950; and a son, Sam Shockley in 1984. Survivors include her son, W. H. Shockley, Roeland Park, Kansas; sister, Nell Moulder, Climax Springs, Missouri; four grandchildren, Paula Fulkerson, Mark Shockley, Bill Shockley, and Dee Shockley; and four great grandchildren.
