OBITUARY

DAVIS, Mrs. Elizabeth B., 79, a resident of Luverne, AL, died Wednesday, February 24, 1999 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 1999 at the Luverne First Baptist Church with Dr. Michael Olewski and Rev. Morgan Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Rutledge Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Survivors include her husband, Merwin J. (Bubba) Davis, Luverne, AL; four children, Barbara and Dan Clevenger, Hot Springs, AR, Kenneth and Barbara Davis, Colorado Springs, CO, Louise and Johnny Flanders, Atlanta, GA and Danny and Teresa Davis, Clinton, MS; eight grandchildren, Melanie Hooker, Dr. Jamie Flanders, Mary Beth Shelby, Judd Davis, Jonathan Flanders, Kelly Davis, Nikki Davis and Brad Davis; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Maurine Foreman, Vinton, LA, Claudine Holt, Little Rock, AR and Jeanne Winfield, Houston, TX; three brothers, Houston Bailey, Houma, LA, Williard (Buddy) Bailey, Panama City, FL and Bib Morgan Bailey, Warner Robbins, GA. The body will lie-in-state at the church for 30 minutes prior to service time. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
