OBITUARY
Betty Street, age 83, of Purdin, died Sunday, January 31, 2016, at McLarney Manor in Brookfield.
A funeral service will be Thursday, February 4, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Mike White officiating. Burial will be in the Purdin Cemetery in Purdin. Visitation will begin Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.

Betty Lou, daughter of George and Thelma (Grice) Haley, was born October 5, 1932, in Purdin. On December 24, 1952, she married George Austin Street who preceded her in death on February 26, 1996.
Betty was a 1951 graduate of Liberty High School in Browning. She was a homemaker and worked with her husband on the family farm. Betty and her husband, George owned and operated the George Street Auction Service where she worked as an auction clerk.
Survivors include her daughter, her son, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two sisters, and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Her parents; one brother, Roy Haley and wife, Joanne; two brothers-in-law, Dale Behrman and Jim Wohler; and a great niece, Kimberly Brosemer, preceded her in death.
