OBITUARY

Mrs. Josiah M. Blough
Mrs. Catherine Livingston Blough, wife of Josiah M. Blough, died this morning at 1 o'clock at the Blough home at Kelso, Conemaugh Townshio, Somerset County, after an illness of a complication of diseases lasting ten months, in her 54th year. The deceased was a daughter of Tobias and Elizabeth Ream Livingston, and was born in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, on October 15, 1864. She was one of a family of nine children and is the sixth of the number to pass away. Her surviving brother is Samuel Livingston of Aline, Okla., and her sisters are Mrs. Jacob Berkey of Scalp Level and Mrs. Josiah Blough of Upper Yoder Township. Miss Livingston and Josiah M. Blough were married at Davidsville about 1885 by Justice Elwood Swank and have always resided in the vicinity of Kelso. Mr. Blough survives his wife, with these children: David H. Blough, intermarried with Minerva Eppley, and residing on the adjoining farm; Katie, wife of Robert Wingard, also residing on an adjoining farm; and Walter and Mabel Blough, at home. She is also survived by six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Stahl Mennonite Church at 10 o'clock Thursday morning, the services to be conducted by the Rev. S. P. Zimmerman of Jerome. Mrs. Blough was a member of the Quemahoning congregation of the Church of the Brethren, having united with it 25 years ago.
