William spent his life in Covington, Ohio. He operated the Covington Manufacturing Co., making swings, brooms, hat-racks, spools, and fences at various times. He was also a minister of the Covington Church of The Brethren. His great grandson, James Lee Boggs, compiled in 1960 a genealogy of his branch of the Boggs family. Much of information contained on the Boggs family herein was copied from his genealogy.
