1860 April 28 Camden County, Missouri - Damus W. Noland purchased 67 acres in the east half of south west quarter of Section 31 of Township 40 in Range 18 on the left bank of the Osage River for $350.00. This Deed made and entered into this the twenty eighth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty by John M. Brown and Mary Brown, his wife, of the county of Camden and state of Missouri and Damus W. Noland of the county of Morgan and the state aforesaid of the other part.

The fenced Holst Cemetery is located on Holst Lane, off of Soap Creek Road from State Highway Five south of Gravois Mills, Morgan County, Missouri. Near the graves of Damus and Susanah Noland are three small stones with only the letter N inscribed on them. A single slender marker with inscribtion for Damus on one side and on obsite side inscribtion for Susanah marks their graves. 450
