Ealdgyth married Maldred I Earl of Dunbar, son of Crínán "the Thane" de Mormaer Abbot of Dunkeld and Bethóc ingen Maíl Choluim meic Donnchada Princess of Scotland. (Maldred I Earl of Dunbar was born about 1005 in Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland 1550 and died in 1045 1550.) The cause of his death was Slain in battle.
