OBITUARY

LASHER - Evelyn W., a resident of Ft. Lauderdale for 35 years, passed away at her home on March 17, 1997. She was the beloved wife of Judge (Ret.) Humes T. Lasher who preceeded her to their Heavenly home. Born Evelyn M. Weitzel in Homewood, PA on January 7, 1917. She and her family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1962 where she established a loving home. She was an extremely unselfish person, who always managed to see the good in a person. A devoted mother and wife that gave her family all the support and love that one could ever ask for. No family could ever desire a dearer mother. She is the loving mother of Colleen K. (deceased), Humes T. Jr and wife, Sandy, Barry H. and wife, Valarie; four grandsons, Humes III, Barry H. Jr, Ben W., Shawn M. and their families consisting of five great grandchildren; and her granddaughter Lauralea and three sisters. Her love, patience and guidance will be sorely missed but forever cherished. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Ft. Lauderdale Shrine Club Carmelettes. A private Memorial Service will be conducted March 20, 1997. It is asked that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital of Crippled Children, Tampa Unit, 12502 N. Pine Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.

Truitt, in 1934.¹⁸⁴⁶ (Humes Truitt Lasher Sr. was born on 20 Oct 1912 in Tarentum, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, USA,¹⁸²⁷ died on 22 Jun 1996 in Fort Lauderdale, Broward, Florida, USA and was buried in Hawthorn Cemetery (Hawthorn, Clarion, Pennsylvania, USA).)
