Gerald Hugh Barrows was the first grave in the new, Locust Valley, cemetery located northwest of Browning, Missouri.
OBITUARY - Infant Son Passes Away
Little Gerald Hugh Barrows, son of Ervin and Audree Barrows was born, August 17, 1930, died December 5, 1931, age one year, three months and seventeen days. He leaves to mourn his departure, father, mother, one sister, and three brothers, Nelda, Devon, Granville and Ronald, besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Smith at Locust Valley, Sunday, Dec. 6th, at one o’clock and its little body was laid to rest in the new cemetery at that place.
The Golden gates were opened wide A Gentle voice said “Come!” And Angles(sic) from the Other side Welcomed our loved one Home.
