Obituary

Mrs. Laura Duppstadt, 79, of Fuller street, died Tuesday in Somerset Community hospital. She was born in Somerset March 29, 1876, a daughter of John R. and Rebecca Houpt Zufall, both deceased. Her husband, Clarence W. Duppstadt, preceded her in death in April, 1947, and she is survived by a daughter, Miss Gladys Zufall Duppstadt, Detroit, Mich; a son, J. Robert Duppstadt, Ft. Worth, Tex; two grandchildren, a brother, Parker Zufall, Morgantown, W. Va., and three sisters: Mrs. Emory Younkin, Rockwood, and Mrs. Wilson Schrock and Mrs. Harry Bowman, both of Somerset.

Mrs. Duppstadt was a life-long member of the First Christian church.

Friends will be received in the Walter S. Hoffman Funeral home, where services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. J.F. Messenger officiating. Interment in Somerset County Memorial park.
