OBITUARY -- Ruby Jean Brooks
Ruby Jean Brooks, age 82, of Malvern passed away July 22, 2005 at the HSC Medical Center. She was born April 26, 1923, in Rolla, Ark., to Louie and Lucy (Rucker) Goodman. She was a homemaker and loved animals, especially her cat "Snoopy". Ruby was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband of 63 years, William F. "Bill" Brooks of Malvern; brother and sister-in-law, Carl E. and Bonnie Brooks of Florence, Ala.; three nieces and one nephew.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 24 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Regency Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, July 25 at 10 a.m. in the Regency Chapel with Reverend Randy Graves officiating.
Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Floyd L. Parker, Mark Efird, M.T. Green, David Wiley, James Crowder, and Wilburn Efird.
Honorary pallbearers are Doyle Parker, Orlen Wiley, Jr., and Dr. Brad Baltz and his staff.
Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home, Malvern.
